Reverend Talavera and his wife, Lou Ann are the owners of the French Quarter Wedding Chapel. Reverend Tony Talavera and his bride, Lou Ann, of 15 years moved from Pennsylvania to New Orleans in 1999. Reverend Tony has been performing wedding services in New Orleans for over 7 years. He quit counting
saying," Every wedding is special and shouldn't be numbered." Reverend Talavera is licensed by the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans. Reverend Talavera actively lobbies to bring the wedding industry to New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. In 2003 Reverend Talavera co-founded The Louisiana Wedding Association.
Lou Ann is a retired Registered Nurse. She co-manages the Wedding Chapel, is the staff photographer and does "Destination Wedding Planning.". In 2003 Lou Ann donated her kidney to her husband.

On Valentine day 2007, after 3 years working to get the city to proclaim New Orleans as the "Romance Capitol of the World", it happen!!!!! New Orleans is now:
